Hi all! On RS2 of my first ever recruiting cycle. I spent my money pretty foolishly and only have a couple hundred dollars for scouting left. I started RS2 with six open scholarships. If I cut one more player (that was signed by the previous owner) will I have more scouting money to spend or is that just opening up one more scholarship that I'll have to fill blindly?

two things - to get extra money, you'd need to cut the guy while at 5 or fewer scholarships. you don't get extra money for the 7th and on scholarships.

that said, the game will not let you cut down below 6 openings. so you don't really even have an option to cut a guy yet, but if you sign one soon, then you could cut one immediately after and you'd get a full scholarship of money for him (assuming you did not sign said player).

You'd get the full amount of recruiting and scouting money (and AP) for cutting a player you didn't sign. At D3 that should be $1k for recruiting and $2k for scouting
