Study Hall and Smart Players Topic

Is there any benefit to study hall other than keeping your guys eligible? Will a team with a higher GPA be “smarter” and do some things better?

no, none. the only thing is that an ineligible recruit who sits out that first year, needs a 2.7 to return in d1/d2. but otherwise its just about getting that 2.0 and for that, not much study hall is usually needed, mostly just for freshman who come in with 2.somethings.

The way I think about it, smarter players will learn IQ quicker. The IQ provides the in-game benefits. However this smartness is a combo of HS GPA and WE, and not tied to study hall at all.

I try to graduate all players at 4.0. They generally lead successful lives and then donate 10% of earnings back to the program, which I then use to bribe new recruits. It's a tried and true strategy.

Father Mlitney tithes his alumni. They’re all 4.0 students so they’re smart enough to willingly cough up 10% of all income to his church, errrrr basketball program.
