Trading for a player that went to arb 3 times Topic

Does anyone have experience with trading for a player that is in year 5 that went to arbitration all three times and was not willing to sign an extension with that team, but once they were traded they were willing to sign an extension with the new team?

I believe more times than not, they WILL re-sign an extension with the NEW team after a trade. I don't believe it's 100% certain it will go that way, but more likely than not.

I asked this question a while ago... answer was exactly as kevinbigham states above, and when I traded my guy he signed with the new team.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback. I had heard from one person that it's possible but wanted to get the opinion of others who have been involved in that scenario.
