I've never bothered messing around with these guys but I've got a decent one that I'd like to dial in.

He's got 80/11 DUR/STA. I'm going to start playing around with his PC settings but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips before I get started. I'm thinking I might be able to get away with 15/15 target/max? Not sure how this will affect his performance and odds for injury since simmy likes to let guys go a bit over the max pretty regularly.

Always hard to tell how effective these guys are looking at their ratios since they often leave inherited runners on for lesser RP's to take over.

I don't usually use closers but I've got another one of these guys and I might just try to CloserA/CloserB them. Only downside is it'll be tough to find room in the bullpen when they run out of options since I won't be able to stash them until roster expansion anymore. Speaking of closers, anyone know if using the closer role is more likely to overwrite a complete game situation?

I don't use closers, either. If all of his other ratings are solid, I would put him at Set-up A, 5-15, and a pull rating of 4 or 5.

I don't like max pc going over the stamina value for relievers, so I'd set him 10-10 with a 1 pull rating.

If he's good, SuA. I don't use closers but would imagine a low stamina guy like this wouldn't be wise there - if he gets shelled you've already potentially burned another pitcher to bring him in.

I have three of those types in Glavine. If I had your guy, I'd go 15/15 with a 1 pull.

I had this guy at one point. I used him as a closer even though I don't usually use a closer. I would set him to 15/15. You aren't going to get more than 35-40 innings out of him. There will be times he doesn't even get an inning in.
