Redshirting a D2 Senior... He'll Still Stay? Topic

Hey guys,
I'm just double checking on this, in case things were changed in the recent updates...

If i were to redshirt a senior (due to a rebuild where my team will struggle this season), his WE would crater to 1, but he would still stay for that extra year, right? It had been that way, but not sure of things changed.
