I was thinking about adding a team, but wanted to see what the salary looked like and could not find it anywhere. Is there any place in the "available team" view you can see the financials?

I guess I could pick up the team see what the salary looked like then drop out if it was too high.

Is it a private world? If so, you could contact the commissioner and see if he would be willing to pass along that information. I don't know of any way you can obtain that information for public worlds.

One public one private. They were both 100+ game losers and wanted room to rebuild

Got to the World standings in the World. Change it to the previous season, find the team that left (team that doesn't have a star next to the owner's name). Click on the roster, you need to add up the salaries manually, but it is better than nothing.
