I do not usually build my team via draft and ints. But in one world I wanted to give it a go. I have 20 million in HS budget but zero in Advanced. I am seeing 25–35-point differences from what core ratings were showing before signing some picks. (All are 18 y.o.) Just "fuzzy" ratings due to my zero in Advanced or is it possible for my max HS budget to be that far off? Thanks in advance.

It's your advanced scouting that's wrong. Go by what your 20 Mil HS scouting said, and what the players' current ratings are. True projections will be somewhere in between. Yep it's a big gap for an 18 year old to ever make up 30+ points in ratings, but that's as clear a projection as you'll ever get.

Advanced scouting is for new people and those that are lazy. Draft your guys, record what their numbers were projected to be when you drafted them and then just run them through your minors as you normally would. I haven't looked at Advanced scouting since 2010
