Also, maybe the reason for the disconnect between how we remember Clemente and Parker versus how the sim evaluates them is both of them are remembered for tremendous throwing arms, and has been previously stated in the forums, the sim does not factor in the strength of an outfielder's throwing arm.

Clemente's WAR was the 3rd highest of the 60's, behind only Mays and Aaron.

A guy who is #3 in WAR for a decade should be considered Top 10 for that decade. Just sayin.
Fielding % is important but if anyone wants to say Yaz was a great fielder...game on.
The WIS fielding algo is flawed similar to those who say Matt Carpenter was a decent 2B. Many balls went for basehits because he was a statue out there are not factored in, when turning (or not) turning the DP, in RL it was a fielders choice when a real 2B would make the pivot and complete the DP.
Got into a good debate w/ someone the other day who thought Mike Trout was the best RH hitter the last 30 years. Sorry Guys, that is Pujols. Is Trout a better all around player, yes but not a better hitter...stats dont lie.
