Another DL question. Can I 15-Day THEN 60-Day DL Topic

Two of my starting pitchers were injured on back-to-back days, a few days before the playoffs are to start. I will win the division but not get a 1st Round bye.

One of my wounded guys is out for 60+ days and I will leave him on the 60-Day DL through the off season.

Another has a 22 day injury….and that means I would have to win two playoff rounds before I would be able to use him.

if I put him on the 15-Day DL and then I am eliminated in one of the first two rounds….can I then move him to the 60-Day when he comes off the 15-Day but still has 5 or 6 injury days left?

Can I have my cake and eat it, too.

I don't think so, but not really sure. But I don't know if that would be a smart thing to do, anyway.

Hmmmmmm? Thanks. I would think the simi would let me. I could remove him from the 15-Day…..but he would still be injured. Putting him on the 60-Day would then seem to be allowed. Such a strategy would allow me to
have him available for the NLCS if for some silly reason I win in the first two rounds BUT still see if I can get any winter-long 60-Day bonus bumps.

I haven't had the need to try something like this myself, but I'm pretty sure that's what the DL Transfer button on the GM Roster view is for, no? As long as he's still injured you should be able to transfer him from 15-day to 60-day, I think.
