Have a young pitcher (2nd year on the ML team) who was injured during or right after ST. Gone for most of the season. He's eligible to come off the DL with a few weeks left. If I leave him on the 60 Day through the season's end will he pick up an extra recovery bump before next season? Even though I can take him off the DL he's still a few points below his pre-injury numbers and I'd love to see him back where he was before the injury.

On his player card during recovery you will see “Injury Recovery” lines demarcating ratings increases. Leave him on the DL until you see a “Regular Season” line; that means he’s done recovering. There is a possibility that the Regular line will end up showing a slight decrease from the Recovery, it happens sometimes. But given the status of the player as you described, I’d leave him till I know he’s past done.

I'm guessing it's Carlton Forster? If so I suspect he'll get all the available bumps to the last day of the regular season, then if you leave him on the DL he'll get healthy in the offseason and next season you'll see what you have.
