Hi all! I have a team based in South Texas, and for obvious reasons, want to be able to recruit players from Mexico. I thought when I used the FSS on "International" that would cover Mexico, but since then I realized I have no players from Mexico in my scouting pool. Additionally, I see that in the FSS, Canada is separate from international and another state you have to buy. Am I missing something or did my small sample size of International players just not have any Mexican nationals in it?

FSS International will find Mexico players. I think you just got unlucky. Unless you did D3 International, which I think won't ever have Mexico players.

If they're not D1 or D2 quality, they're forced to work for the cartels.

That’s what I thought. I remember long ago someone posted Pablo Escobar as s potential recruit. Sign him, and the other team doesn’t show up. That’s one way to get some wins

If my memory serves me, D3 international is only players from Puerto Rico (and Canada but that is a separate option)

on another note, swatts, are you practicing all the offenses and defenses? I saw you have very high IQs in m2m, but running zone in games.

I took over a solid M2M team from SIM AI. This team is extraordinarily top-heavy so I thought it was worth it to switch to a zone team in order to attempt a Sweet 16 run (which I still think we’re capable of, and when you get that deep who knows what can happen!) I thought about using M2M in games while my zone IQ was still low, but figured I needed the practice with zone and also that any IQ differential would be offset by having to give more minutes to wayy below replacement value players

gotcha, I figured that may have been the case but wasn't sure. I remember WAY back when in my first season in Naismith I was changing my offensive set every game and trying to practice all the sets too, which I quickly found was not the correct way
