Fatigue question Topic

Fatigue and stamina are obviously significant factors in determining the outcome of a game. However, I'm curious if each level of fatigue is considered equally greater than the next level below.

Scenario 1:
- Team A: all five players on the court are "fresh"
- Team B: all five players on the court are "fairly fresh"

Scenario 2:
- Team A: all five players on the court are "fairly fresh"
- Team B: all five players on the court are "tired"

In each of these scenarios does Team A have an equal fatigue advantage? I ask this question because I run a team with a flex/FCP system and because I have quality depth I typically run uptempo. However, there have been matchups where the opponent runs a FB/uptempo offense with a FCP defense like I do. In these games, it seems inevitable that both teams' players are going to reach a fatigue level of "tired" or lower at some point.

Am I putting myself at a disadvantage in these games by playing uptempo and letting my players reach a lower level of fatigue than they would otherwise even if that level is still a tier above my opponents' players?

I have always operated under the impression this is equally as bad in each scenario. 1 step is an equal drop in ability.

Also, go for it and run uptempo! You have great stamina and 11 good players. I strongly think you should play King for the depth, though. He's not that bad and won't need to provide much more than 10 MPG.
