Ineligible player question Topic

I signed a D2 player last year that was an ineligible D1 prospect and I was able to pull him down to me. He was not eligible as a freshman. He is now listed as a sophomore. I thought these players still had 4 years of eligibility? Is he a guy that will be listed as a Sr/5 after his senior year?

Yes, he will stay for a Sr/5 after his season listed as a senior. The only exception that I'm aware of in D2 is if he transfers because he's getting no playing time and is upset.
