Hi all, I've got a player who I was set to promote( put the transactions in yesterday but didn't push the button until today) that was inactivated by the computer. I did not notice this and pushed through my promotions this morning and now he's stuck on my major League roster as an inactive player and I cannot activate him. Anybody have any ideas how to fix this?

There's typically an error message that you cannot promote inactive players to the ML roster.

Right. Either he should not have been able to be promotable or he should have been promoted as active

Well, what if sports does not seem inclined to answer this or do anything about it. Could I designate him for assignment, activate him, and then reassign him to the major leagues? And would I have to worry about any demotion penalties or anything if I did that?

I would just be patient. They will respond eventually.
