Mostly agree with cub. You had a really bad sim. I don't think your tempo choice had any real affect on this outcome, you should have been fine at any tempo, and should have had roughly the same advantage - and on the flip side, when you get a bad luck day, that's just what you get. I would have chosen normal because there was no compelling reason to try to play tall against a weak sim, but I don't think it moved the needle here. If anything, your distribution may have been a bit top heavy, perhaps try to get a 3rd scorer into your distribution (for starters and bench), with preference toward perimeter scoring for flex. You didn't get many 3s off, and I'm not sure if that was your intention or just a function of the bad luck day, but with flex, you definitely want more than 8 3FG attempts. I'd have wanted 12-15 with 41 FGA overall. But again, these bad luck days are goofy, the sim just pulls you in another direction sometimes, so if that's what happened, just curse the engine and move on. Don't want to overcorrect based off terrible luck.
