And the best part is that he was absolutely 100% free. Of course, this was at my A+ prestige D1 team so results may vary.

He won't score a lick with his LP, PER, and BH ratings but I won't need him for that. With zero distro, he'll still contribute to offensive efficiency with his solid passing. Defense will be plus and being able to contribute to rebounding as well is the icing on the cake. On top of all that, he'll be able to slot in at the 2 or 3 (maybe the 4 depending on how high his Reb goes).

For free, and with the right expectations, I'm not concerned. I do think it's a mistake to try to project this guy to his full potential, because if he gets there, he's been starting too much and probably hurting your team (unless we're talking about a mid-major rebuild I guess). But as a 3 year bench player, who will cover the 3 from the bench for 10-12 mpg, for nothing, and will probably be good enough to start on a good team with senior IQ, there's good value here. More than a walk-on anyway. ;)

on topic these guys are great as long as you dont have to start them until sr year or just use them as developed backups jr/sr year the 43 we is fine considering he has no LP/Per potential taking time away so you can easily put 15-20 in condition/reb/def/pas and expect him to be hitting his max and a capable player Junior year. nice to have a guarenteed 4 year player and for a rebuild if you superclass it fb/press its not a big deal if he sucks 1-2 seasons while rebuilding
