Asking for advice on a situation where you acquire a prospect during spring training via trade, play him all spring training, and then he gets a 15 game injury about 10 games into the season. He hasn't yet received the opening day ratings bump from spring training because of the trade. Will those ratings improvements be lost because of the injury? He only lost a point in durability and health from the injury. Does putting him on the dl or not affect whether he may or may not get those spring training ratings bump points?

I would just do what you would normally do with him, regardless of the trade. The improvement bump after ST is just an update to the card...when it doesn't appear because of a trade, you'll just get a bigger first regular season bump.

Thanks, yeah that's what i was counting on, but it's hard to tell if the injury has eaten up/will eat up those improvements...
