I believe every team in history has had a 100+ IP pitcher on their staff. In the example used above, just go to the search page and type in IP 100 minimum for American League between 1922 and 1924 and every team that qualifies will show up with at least one pitcher. Just sort by team name...

That would be a heck of a lot easier than typing every team for every season...

"There will be no separating the A.L. teams from the N.L. teams in this round. "

So I don't think you would want to limit to one league in the search page, lest you miss half the choices.

I think it would be helpful to identify which teams go in which grouping. The draft filter if you do AL Central for 1922-24 is empty. I know some teams changed names/cities but would be nice to know vs. guessing who is included.
I think you are confused. The AL Central in league 2 is reserved for all 1922-24 teams. You don't need to set any search criteria for AL Central.
I think that is helpful so for ANY of the leagues, you get to choose 3 teams from ALL available in those those years at least all NL or all AL. That makes it a bit simpler.

That is correct. Forgive me for being an idiot and not even remember the parameters of a theme I came up with...

Hey guys, by my calculations thejuice6 will have 5 teams advancing to round 3. There are 10 leagues. I really don't need to be playing 25-27 teams in the next round, so unless there is a huge outcry against this, I am going to donate my 5 lowest ranked teams to juice, so he can have a team in each league (and as a result, he can be the commissioner in each league).

I propose that he gets the exact spot in the ranking (thru 152 games, my lowest five advancing teams are ranked 170, 177, 196, 224, 226).

This shouldn't affect anybody else since the only difference is that he will be drafting his roster and playing the games instead of me. Nobody else's draft order will be affected by this. This also reduces the number of leagues that I have will three teams in.

Why propose...you and Juice do ALL the hard work, just do it. I am just hoping my #22 pick makes the cut.

Creeper, I think your team needs to go 3-5 in the last 8 games to advance. Through 154 games, 73-81 is in. Your team is 74-80. A couple of my teams are also 74-80.

I've communicated with juice on my donation and he is ok with this as long as there are no major complaints. Based on all the work he does, I can't imagine anybody will have any issues with this.

Sounds like a great idea. Thanks for all the work you both do to set up these tourneys and provide ongoing analysis.

All for it. Thanks to both of you.

Agree 100%

Agreed. Makes sense.

Agree as well

Am I correct that this is how the draft will progress?

1. Top 20 picks get to choose any league/division they want to be in (along with their first of 3 teams).
2. At this point, the remaining 220 teams will be assigned to a LEAGUE, but NOT a DIVISION along with a draft order from 1 through 24 within the league.
3. These 220 teams will choose their division within that league (along with their first of 3 teams).
4. At this point, everyone will be in a 4-team division.
5. Each division will now conduct the last two picks--round 2 (in reverse order of picks from step 3) and 3 (in same order as step 3).

Did I get that right?

That is correct.
