Since we have an example of a team with insufficient playing time (much less decent rates) if going by Opening Day rosters that even 3 additional picks from 6 leftover orphan teams still probly couldn't satisfy (basically, player movement blows), I propose moving forward with a player is eligible for any team he has a player card for, partial or full-season. If 2 teams get a full-season Schilling, at this point who cares ? Any better easier to implement ideas ?

No interest in playing in a progressive with multiple players on multiple teams. Non-starter for me.

I’d say best bet is to take all multiple team players & throw them into the draft. Allow teams to keep less players from their team & allow them to draft from the pool of expanded players.

Maybe we should just keep it simple and do a straight draft of all players starting in 2000. 25 man roster plus 6 real life players in AAA. Every owner can control their own destiny right from the get go.
The theme can be because of Y2K all player contacts got wiped out, so MLB is starting over by putting all players up for draft.
