60 Day DL for long injuries Topic

I tried looking around but couldn’t find much info on this. I just had one of my best pitchers get injured for 190 days in spring training (don’t start on me with the pitching in ST. I know, I’m an idiot haha). I put him on the 60 day DL immediately. After the 60 days is done, do you take him off and put him back on to try and get a few more recovery points? Is that a thing? Or do you leave him on and he will still recover (hopefully)?

He has sort of middling makeup rating from what I can see so it would depend on A) Your Medical Budget and B) His Importance to Your Team. If you are in a playoff race I would bring him back ASAP but if you are out of it leave him on the DL until he stops getting recovery bumps. If you didn’t budget for high medical it might not matter much either way.

You can't take him off the 60-day DL until he is healthy.
