Rupp World, Central Oklahoma DII.

I will keep this short. But I signed a transfer from Colorado and when the new season rolled over it shows that he went to Manual HS in Denver, CO. Well the freshman I signed in the same class is also from Manual HS in Denver, CO. Just thought that was pretty cool and that there was a very low chance of that happening. Too bad the freshman didn't hit the books harder or else he would get to play with his high school teammate this season. I guess we will have to wait a season! Go Manual Thunderbolts!

That is pretty neat. I have two kids from cross-town rival high schools on my team:

Nicholas Sayer from St Joseph Catholic HS in Ogden, UT

John Janke from Ben Lomond HS in Ogden, UT

Also in Rupp D2, at Winston-Salem State my top recruit in back-to-back seasons was from Page HS in Greensboro. They are currently Sr & Jr on my squad. I almost went 3 in a row from Page, but a D1 school came in on what would now be a current So. but I have totally lost the name of that guy.

That would have been insane.

I would love it if the game added "pipeline" preferences - sign someone from a high school and for the next season or two you have a nice edge at that school

simlarly pipeline for foreign countries and cmall city size areas in USA - sign a kid from Sudan - and next cycle the kids from Sudan want to talk with you

i like the flavor that this sort of thing would add as well. done right it could potentially level the playing field a bit for mid majors.

i have a cool recruiting story. i was after this player, it was looking good, but then another school showed up... i was still very high to high and figured i'd spent at least 50% more than the other dude, so it was PROBABLY going to fine. i'll leave the rest up to the imagination of the reader.

I managed to sign 2 big men from North Pole High School in Alaska. They were both around 6’10. It’s funny to imagine a random HS basketball team in Alaska with 2 near 7 footers, who also weren’t good enough for D1 and went D3
