Around the Bases is an unique and fun league concept. We make a 4 year run around the bases and in year 5 we start all over again. Here's how it works:

Year 1 - you draft a franchise and you get to keep 5 players from that franchise
Year 2 - you get 10 keepers from your team
Year 3 - you get 15 keepers from your team
Year 4 - you get 20 keepers from your team

The twist is in the draft:

Year 1 - NL East drafts from AL East player pool, NL West drafts from AL West player pool and vice versa for the AL
Year 2 - NL East drafts from AL West player pool. NL West drafts from AL East player pool and vice versa for the AL
Year 3 - NL East drafts from NL West player pool. NL West drafts from NL East player pool and vice versa for the AL
Year 4 - All divisions draft from their own division player pool
Year 5 - we start all over again

There are 3 openings due to owners cutting back their WIS commitments or being called away by real life obligations. The openings are:

Chicago Cubs - NL East
Cincinnati Reds - NL West
Pittsburgh Pirates - NL East

The league is entering Year 3 so you would get 15 keepers from the franchise. Please post your interest and I will give you access to the league forum to look around.

Both Pittsburgh and Cincinnati have impressive talent, and in two seasons, you get a fresh start with another franchise!
