Hi all, I am wondering when is the last day to restore eligibility for a player? It looks like it’s the day after the NT championship game? Or can you do it during recruiting session two if you need the open spot for a 6 player class, in this case?

I've looked into removing a redshirt in Session 2 and it wouldn't let me. I don't think you can unless there is a way I am unaware of.

Also, one semi-related and annoying thing about redshirts is that it makes the player count for BOTH classes during the next recruiting cycle.

So for example, if you redshirt a sophomore and have five other sophomores, you can't recruit a JUCO because it already counts you having 6 returning juniors. This is true even in RS2 when the deadline to remove the redshirt has (ostensibly?) past.

I know it rarely comes up but I do feel it is a bit of a bug (RS1 it makes sense since you could still rescind the redshirt).
