The O.G. 2X Progressive League has an opening!
The O.G. League has 12 owners. We play two seasons at once. We are moving into the 93-94 & 94-95 seasons right now. You will have a roster of 12+ players that you use to make a 93-94 team AND a 94-95 team. Teams from the early season play in the Eastern Conference, teams from the later season are in the West.
All of our teams are named after the first 12 NBA teams that were playing in 1967-68 (our first season). We're moving into our 27th & 28th seasons this year!
Our drafts are very different because there are only 12 picks per round, AND because we draft from two draft classes (in this case, 93-94 & 94-95). So the last pick in the 1st round is equivalent of a #6 pick in a 24-team league. 2nd round picks can be very valuable, since the 1st pick of the 2nd round always has at least the 7th best player of a particular draft class available.
The team that is available is the St. Louis Hawks. It was owned by seapilots. This is one of the most storied franchises in our league history, with several rings. The team is in rebuild mode right now. It will be in the lottery with a 1-in-6 chance at the #1 pick. Worst case scenario, the team will pick #4 or 5 in Round 1, and 1st or 2nd in Round 2. The roster isn't much, but it would be a good team to takeover with a few seasons of rebuilding in mind.
