too many zeros !!!! Topic

Why are my minor league pitchers ....having zero energy and not refreshing back to 100 I have an entire staff that is worn out and we still have games left to play. If I am forced to play pitchers at zero or near zero than they get shelled and worse [injured] Why is this happening????!!!!

In the minors, putchers tend to have less durability and stamina. You need to shuffle them in and out constantly.

Minor leagues I'm usually rotating in and out eight starters/LRs and seven RPs. Only in AAA and sometimes AA do the SPs go enough innings that I get through the season with a core five. Then of course you get injuries.

You also might need to adjust your pitch counts downward.

For whatever reason HBD doesn't show negative numbers, so if the actual current stamina is below zero this cycle and next, it just shows as 0 (0). Your best bet is to deactivate these tired pitchers, promote some MiLB guys to fill out the HiA and above teams, and /or sign dudes from tryout camp. damag has it exactly right--you will need multiple SPs in the minors per level because they just don't have the stamina to last. Since you can just activate / deactivate players, it's not that big of a deal.

I carry 17 pitchers per MiL level to take care of injuries and fatigue. I like 10 players that can start and 7 relievers. More SP are ok too. My only concern with the MiL rosters are that legitimate prospects get as much playing time as possible, and that fatigue doesn't become a problem. I move players onto and off the active roster constantly to keep players fresh. The ML roster presents challenges because of roster limits. But resting players and having at least 2 LR helps keep it under control.
