If you are leading for a recruit who has Early or End of Period 1 signing preference, can you hold them until the late signing period even if another team has offered a scholarship? Will being in front do it or do you need to hold a 40% credit advantage or whatever the minimum difference is from VH to Moderate?

Yes as long as you hold them to moderate, if the other team is at High or Very High they will get the signing (on recruits that are not late). If you hold to moderate though you can cut a guy in RS2 and sign your recruit
