I’m in. So are we playing two seasons? 22-23 now and then progressing to 23-24 next May when the new 23-24 seasons are released? Or are we just establishing our rosters now?
We are playing one season, and the season we are actually competing with is from the 23-24 WIS player roster. So for now we will create a team with NBA players from the 22-23 season that we believe will breakout this upcoming NBA season. Then when the 23-24 WIS player roster comes out, every owner will swap there team comprising of 22-23 NBA players, with their corresponding 23-24 version and actually compete with this version!
Always wanted to do something like this but figured it would be hard to recruit for and organize with people potentially dropping out and whatnot.
Why not allow rookies or injured players from last year to be drafted too? If someone wants to take the risk on Wemby or Chet, etc., why not give them the chance?
EDIT: Just reread the OP, I see why you're doing it this way, in order to have a $50M cap and make it more challenging. I'd rather do it capless with no restrictions but I'm in either way.
