I don't see a problem. Consistently decent RPIs at a tough place to get decent RPIs, strong conference showings, couple CCOY awards. Michigan is a baseline B prestige, current B+ in that world, not elite of the elite.

Why did you make this post?

Just curious. Didn’t realize you could get higher level DI without ever having to use a full roster of your own recruits. Also didn’t realize Michigan was a B.

Also, Ill post whatever questions I damn well please.

They changed the job requirements, I was eligible (and got) Washington after 1 D3, 2 D2, and 2 D1 seasons and I know coaches who have made the jump even faster with the current set up

I knew you could move up fast. I just didn’t realize how easy it was to get to a big 6 conf.

Yea, when they made that change it really diminished the whole idea that you have to earn the job at an upper level school. The way so many had to in the past.

this is kind of true but also if its such an upper level school, the best resume wins, and that is most of what matters. you can't get a job a bunch of people want without a good resume. i mean, the resume comparison function sucks, but it is no worse than it was previously.

i woudn't have gone quite as far as them in opening things up to anyone with a pulse, but also it seems pretty reasonable to take a minimally qualified candidate for a job nobody else wants. or over a terrible sim who will wreck the place. i don't feel like those of us who had to work for our BCS jobs really have any claim to being wronged or that sort of thing.
