Curious if it's even worth recruiting. I am thinking I might just start punting.

I assume you're referring to RS2.

I've had mixed success during job changes during RS2. Mostly bad, but occasionally I've been able to make modest improvements to the tail end of my bench. Kind of depends on what your expectations are for your first full season with the new school.

Still probably best to plan on taking one or two walk ons for the recruiting resources next season.

I'd say the talent you bring in depends on a lot of factors but yes, it is 100% important to at least try? I'd love if you were near me just punting an RS2.

At D1, I will commonly target international recruits when I get to the new job since I can full send them with resources. I've pulled in some really talented players. You can also target a local guy if that is preferred.

At D2, I just pulled in 2 studs during my RS2 with W.Florida in Smith, should 100% be starters in the NT all 4 years. One international uncontested, one local guy being protected by a D1. At NW Naz in Iba, I pulled in a dominant big and a strong SF.

So yeah, I'd say just punting RS2 is a pretty horrible idea.
