This is the baseline prestige list and it definitely identifies some of the best jobs in D1. However, it's not the only thing that creates an "elite" job and doesn't identify elite jobs at other divisions.

So for D1, outside of those top A+ baselines (and even when including several of them), some of the other elite jobs are LSU (B), Colorado (B-), and Miami (B) due to advantages in location. LSU and Miami are in states when there's a lot of low D1 programs in-state (fairly irrelevant in most worlds) which creates more recruits for you paired with large distance from other tops schools. Colorado is largely alone all alone.

For other divisions, here's some discussion: https://www.whatifsports.com/forums/Posts.aspx?topicID=502484&page=1

Don't leave out New Mexico, also B- like colorado and has the state nearly entirely to itself. Also the MWC is not a stacked conference and typically half full of sims. Its been very easy to compete every season while there for myself.

Good to see another New Mexico truther! However definitely depends on how strong/how good the coaches are at nearby schools like Colorado, Arizona, and Texas Tech.
