In light of MLB adding Negro League stats to the official record books, does anyone know if WhatIfSports will make those players draftable in the Baseball SimLeagues?

I don't think they will any time soon. The main problem is the stats are incomplete for most leagues and seasons. Just to take an example, here's 1943:

Hard to normalize that to 162 games, how do you handle Harrisburg when they only played 16 games, etc.

I would love to see the stats added if only to introduce some variety to the sim, but I'd be surprised if they add them in the near future.

I can understand not including Harrisburg in that example, but they normalized the 60 game covid season. Getting Josh Gibson and some of the other stars into the sim seems like it would be good for everyone.

Definitely, it may well bring new users to the site and would be a smart move.

What happened to the pinned thread (https://www.whatifsports.com/forums/Posts.aspx?topicID=527998) from site staff about the planned NLB addition? There was some good data and conversations around the statistical hurdles, handling proration equitably, etc...
