Hello all - I recruited and signed a guy last season. I’m thinking of cutting him to open a spot to try to sign a recruit.
How much of a negative impact is cutting a player at the D3 level. I fear the short term gain may not be worth the long term pain. Anyone try this? Thanks!

I don’t have the exact number but cutting the occasional recruit shouldn’t hurt your prestige/loyalty. I’ve had a D3 team for 60 seasons. I don’t think I cut my first guy until about 30 seasons in, fearing I would take a hit. I didn’t. I probably drop one guy every 3-4 seasons. I think you just want to avoid continually cutting players. If it’s 2-3 each season, you can’t grow your roster and will undoubtedly impact your prestige,

I've cut a player I signed a few times and never noticed any meaningful impact. That's spread over a whole lot of seasons, but I think you'd have to really massacre your roster to see it damage your ability to recruit.
