Just got the note from a Soph player (who isn't that good) that said: What the &#%^@ is going on? about not getting enough minutes.

I think a good addition to the program is as a player becomes confrontational about leaving and gives this kind of play me or I'm outta here attitude, that we are able as coaches to have a decision box that allows us to pick one of two choices. 1) Don't let the door hit you on the way out. 2) you are right, I'll give you more minutes.

For #1 the player automatically quits the team and his roster spot is blank. For #2 the line-up page pops up with that player highlighted until his situation is changed.

or you just use the same 2 options that exist in the game without an unncessary and waste of time code change? you either play him and you get the follow up or dont and he leaves its already in the game lol

I always bench them to show them who's the boss. Snot-nosed brats! They can decide who gets to play when THEY'RE the legendary coach!

I thought they removed players leaving based on not being happy about minutes (unless its a broken promise). In my experience the WE just tanks but they stick around. I think a long time ago they used to leave.

I had a Jr. leave two seasons ago after he ******* about minutes and I didn't make any changes. He was getting around 3-4 minutes a game but only in big margin games--he was last on the depth chart for PF and C and didn't make it in in close games.

I promised minutes and starts to player. I brought him off the bench against a few tough non-conference opponents. However, I missed a day, got an ugly email and his WE plummeted. I got him over 80% starts but he still held the grudge, the WE never returned and he left the program. I see him as a transfer recruit in the 2nd session. Can I try to re-recruit and sign him or will he give me the middle finger no matter how much interest I show?
