This is just to satisfy my curiosity. Where do the financial transactions involved in Rule V stuff show up? Do the payments of 50,000 and 25,000 go to the league or to the owner?

So, if I lose a player in Rule V his salary is deducted, and I can see that, but I don't see a $50,000 payment from the other team.

If I take him back, where does the 25,000 go and show on the finances?

Not a big deal in the scheme of things.

I haven't tracked this, but the only place that makes sense is player payroll.

It may be, but there's no place where it is noted. Maybe it's taken out of/added into the total available player budget...or just ignored.
