I haven’t been on PC yet, but for mobile, there doesn’t seem to be a visible sitemail indicator (I sent myself test messages, as well) anymore.

This is quite important, any way we can get a sitemail indicator back?

In the new header there is a red dot next to the sitemail icon. It does take a little while for that tho and is not instant. What I can do and have thought about already today is adding a mail icon or something that is a little more noticeable when you have sitemail. Would that be better?

Thank you for the reply. On mobile, it seems like the red dot is inside the hamburger menu and doesn't show unless you clink into the menu. On PC, now that I'm on to check, it seems like the dot is behind the account icon and in that menu, again, doesn't show unless you clink into the menu. In both cases, it seems like I have to click into the menu to see the dot, which somewhat defeats the purpose of the indicator. If it can show on top of the hamburger icon or on top of the account icon, then that would be ideal. Or even alongside the account icon.

Yeah I agree, I can get that updated in a few days hopefully. Today is obviously busy but hopefully soon!

Yes I'd love something like the old green letter icon that was used before the SportsHub years. But I have been wondering about sitemail indicator all day myself. Thanks for this thread J4M, and thanks JJones42 for the quick response.

I went to Account Settings to check if the forward sitemail to email setting was still on, as I was going to inform league members to ensure that was set with the notificationbutton missing, and the button sends me back to my last post. Can't open Account Settings.

The notification icon will be fixed today, probably in a few hours. Can you let me know where you are clicking on Account Settings? Is it when you click on your avatar in the top? There are now account settings for your login and general account settings for WIS which is a bit confusing. If you let me know how you are getting there I can look into it and possibly update/add something to make it less confusing. Or, if it isn't working at all I can fix that too.

I was on my phone, clicked on the pancakes in the upper left, then clicked on Account Settings. However, now it's working on both my phone and computer. Thanks anyhow.

I updated things so there is a sitemail icon now, as well as an icon when you have unread sitemail. If you don't see it and also don't see the log out button clear your cached images and files.

Just want to post another update here. Currently the red dot next to the sitemail icon shows up if you have ANY unread sitemails. Even if you have an unread one from 10 years ago it will still show up.

There has been some feedback about that and I understand why and it's annoyance. I am going to make another update to only show the red dot if you have a sitemail that is unread since your last read sitemail. This will fix that issue and make it so that if you see the red dot you know you have unread sitemails.

It is also worth noting that it only checks once every 5 minutes so things may be a bit behind but 5 mins is a good balance I think.
