accidently rescinded scholarships? Topic

The only thing that bothers me here is that they used to not give the player back but now they do? They used to not combine accounts but willthey now? Make up there minds already

Just like any other business, it depends on what employee you get. Some will bend the rules, some will be strict. For example, where I work we are not allowed to run the money in for them unless a) they are old/disabled. B) they have a kid in the car with nobody to watch them. Most of the time Wade, Steven and myself will run in the money even if A or B do not apply. Others, mainly becky, jared and Derick are all complete A holes and never will. The customer has to **** a brick for them to run it in for them even when A and B applies.

The issue with that though is most people send a ticket in within 10 minutes of it happening. In those cases, when the ticket gets sent the player isn't considering anyone. Its just CS slow responding that makes it turn into a much bigger issue. By the time they 'fix' it at that point the player is considering other schools.

Its not like you just missed out on anything. Jump on someone who is considering a different coach (maybe the coaches player who took the player you wanted back? ) or find one who isn't considering someone.
You dont seem to understand, by targeting that player, he passed on other opportunities. Sure he might be able to salvage recruiting that is always possible, but the whole dynamic has been changed and chances he probably would have taken are no longer available..once anyone made an investment into the guy, I am of the opinion he should no longer be returned...

you cant recruit players that you cut/transfered from your school

If CS was able to respond to a ticket quickly, they could reverse the rescinded dcholarship before he shows up as a transfer. When it happens on a weekend, forget it. This would not be an issue if they would just locate the "rescind scholarship" and "restore eligibility" buttons apart from each other. If someone just change their mind, too bad. If it was a simple error and a ticket is sent in time, I think CS should restore that player. It is a design flaw on the Team Office page that is the problem.

It's NOT an issue, since you have to confirm that what you're trying to do is actually what you WANT to do.

I am so used to getting those confirm popups for redshirting a player, that I just click them automatically. At least I used to. It seems I am not the only one that hits the rescind button by mistake.

I did this recently. I notified customer service when it happened and it took 30 hours to get a response.

Of course, he wasnt even in the recruit pool until the next cycle (3 hours away), then the 1st cycle after he hit he started considering 2 schools. The ticket was acknowledged by cs about 12 hours after I put it in, and he was still available. At the 1pm cycle the next day, he signs with a school and 15 min later I get an email from CS saying "sorry, he signed with another school".

After I got that email, I replied back and told them their service sucks. I understood it was my fault and I cut the wrong player but to sit on it until after he signed with another school and then to just say "sorry, he signed with another school. There is nothing we can do" was horse **** customer service. I would have rather they told me at 7am they couldn't do anything instead of stringing me along and waiting for the easy out. I noticed when I signed in a little later, that ticket was closed and deleted from my inbox.
