Good to know, emy. Maybe he's learned the most efficient, least risky way to use them. If so, oh well, it's simply more official notice that he has mastered the game as currently configured (and is likely to do in short order, with any future change).

Ok, emy just posted that LM got caught in a world at Ball St, got basically the HD version of the death penalty for major infractions. Summed it up by writing something like, "oh yea, LM has definitely used boosters." I posted the above response, and now emy's post is gone. Maybe emy is to HD as Cher is to Silkwood? ;)

My thought re: boosters, Maybe the WCAA let's the top programs 'get away' with things like in real life? hmmm...

Just a thought in general not calling anyone out for it.

I have enjoyed our time in Phelan BEast, although we have not had much interaction..

BUt in regards to LM2 im still fuming about him beating me over in Knight. Partly because I lost, and mostly because I was recrutiing for a friend (i dont have a team in knight).

But through sitemial LM said he took the lead with 31K spent.. I led almost the whole time until he signs out of nowhere after I spent 67k total..

And like Phelan LM is at UNC and is the recent national champion in kNight..

I seem to remember sitemailing with him during that time ... I could be mistaken, but I think it was something along the lines of that he had two DI teams in that world, was gonna get rid of one and he decided to go out in a blaze of glory.

The memory of our sitemails is a bit fuzzy, but I think that's about the extent of it. I definitely didn't get the impression that he used boosters otherwise. Heck, why would he be using boosters now, he hardly gets challenged ...

I recruited in Knight this past recruiting for a friend.

Lets just say I took on LM2 and UNC.

I spent about 35K more give or take and lost... I thought I did a great job recruiting..

B+ to A+ and 90 mile disadvantage for me.

I think what he meant was he didn't mean anything personal by it. It was more of a "Hey we aren't doing it for the same reasons you aren't doing it" remark... just my take tho.

Oh, well, I didn't take it "personally"...this is imaginary basketball...gotta keep things in context...within the context of that he "called me out" beyond that its all good...ALMOST the weekend!

Yes, LM2. Since recruiting seems more and more to BE HD, if someone is dominating in that area, the rest of us are interested in (and amazed by) how it's done. My hat's off to you.
