Even so, it does not change the fact that my SOS is below average and with just a 5-2 record that I am #60 in RPI.
My RPI is what it is mostly due to playing on the road for all of my games.
I know it is early in the season.

At DII I schedule all road OOC games. Last season, I started 8-7 but had #1 RPI and #1 SOS through 15 games.
