What the hell causes turnovers? I can't f'ing figure it out. I have had teams with high iq, high bh and high passing but still high turnovers...motion offense by the way...

Yep, those are the main things to look at. Look at your two starting bigs: Pickell (4 bh, 15 pa) turns the ball over about 50% more than Nelson (27 bh, 44 pa) with a comparable # of shots.

Keep in mind that you play uptempo and average 80 ppg. For that sort of pace and # of possessions, I don't think 14 to/game is alot whatsoever. If you adjust it for pace, it's actually quite good.

All in all, I'm not really a huge fan of how the sim handles to's (particularly pg's with super high bh/pa/iq that have barely better than a 1:1 assist-to ratio, but my hope is that is mostly cosmetic), but it's definitely not among the engine's biggest problems, and I definitely don't see anything out-of-whack with it for your squad.

I was talking about my gaurds..I can understand pickell turning it over but not my gaurds...I also only run uptempo when it is called for...

I wasn't criticizing you for running uptempo, just saying that in order to properly evaluate your # of turnovers, it had to be adjusted for pace/# of possessions.

As I mentioned above, WIS does a poor job of properly replicating ast-to ratio for guards. Kind of a deplorable job, actually. But none of your guards is averaging more than 2 to/game, and again, considering # of possessions I don't think that's out-of-whack.

This used to bother me, but I've long since stopped worrying about it, and that would be my advice to you unless your to #'s really start to go up.

I quite running uptempo even against less superior teams do to the unusual amount of turnovers it creates.

I run motion with my Stonehill team and we seem to turn the ball over a lot more than we should. Could there be something with motion that causes more turnovers?

I would normally say poor ballhandling but that doesn't seem the case here, especially with damon. I've seen motion teams with comparable BH and PA numbers average fewer turnovers but what other factor is at play I haven't figured out.

distro plays a role. If you play the press and you have high distro to a big whom cannot pass or ball handle then the result is tournovers. Sod if you play the press and yuo slow then you cannot beat the traps. you can dribble the best but if you to slow 2 guys on you will force some tournovers
