Which of these 2 PF do you like? Topic

Of these 2 and D-II, running FB, Man/FCP, Projected #'s based on potential. And is there a large difference between the 2? Does the ATH bonus of player 1 balance out the lower Def, LPost, and Per?

Player 1:
ATH-77
Speed:54
Shot Block:73
Defense:45
Rebounding: 74
FT:65%
Low Post 60
Per: 12
Stamina:High Potential
Initial WE: 55
Scout says: D-II very good, D-I could be good w/ a redshirt

Player 2:
Ath: 65
Speed 57
Reb:68
Def:72
SB:70
Low Post:80
Per:30
FT: 50%, low potential
Stamina:moderate potential
Initial WE:34
scout says: D-II team would be very lucky to have him

i like player 1 by a decent margin

edit: passing? passing could sway me if player 2 is like 20> in passing or something

Player 2 looks better, but I don't like his 50% FT with low potential. But his defense does make him look better to me.

projected ratings based on potential? you dont know for sure what they will hit...

you should post their starting ratings, and what potentials are high, avg, and low?

True, but there's no way of knowing how much "high" or "medium" is as far as I can tell, so I gave them consistent values for high, medium, and low.

Unless there's a way of telling which high potentials are "VERY" high potentials vs. just high potentials, then it's about as good as one can project.

I agree... Player 2 should also be a better scorer with with that LP/PE combo.

Agree, you could be off on these 'projected' ratings... More or less this is judging two made up players...

Player 1 because of Ath, WE, Sta, and FT% given your FB and Man/FCP team. I may go 2 if you ran a different system or were in desperate need for a LP scorer.

For Fastbreak - M2M/Press:

Player 2 - It's not even close for me.

- Shot Blocking/Reb are virtually the same.
- In D2, anything over 60 Ath is solid
- 50% to 65% FT shooting doesn't matter all that much due to our nice HD RNG

So you're with 12 pts in Ath vs. 27 pts in D (M2M is the base there) from a defensive standpoint. And 12pts in Ath vs. 20 pts in LP and 18 pts in Per for offense.

I can't even make an arguement for Player 1 with the FB-M2M/P setup.

If you run the FCP, then player 1 wins, but if you run the man, then player 2 wins. It's close.
