I made the jump from Brown to Rutgers (low BCS school) in 4 years, but I had an at-large NT berth in my 4th season. It took me six years to move from Boston U to Virginia (SEC) in Smith though with back-to-back NT appearances.

ape: Not trying to be negative, but the resume isn't that impressive. No postseason wins. only NT bids were automatics and no RPI below 87.. You have been reasonably successful at Campbell, but not outstanding. You are in a kind of a very common position in HD. Unless you have a deep NT run at Campbell, you will have to take a loyalty hit and take a lesser big 6 job if you want to move to the big time.

I wasn't really trying to say that I should be able to get a good job, just that I thought it was weird that I wasn't 'qualified' for any jobs. Didn't get Auburn so I'm going to keep grinding it out at Campbell.
