Yes, extremely likely that he is out of reach.

Also, if he is the #141 PG, he is a ranked player. I'd focus on unranked guards and big men, and SFs ranked 170th or above.

yes. Sf maybe. I have tried to pull down guards in the 120+ range with no success ever. I have gotten alot of sf's though and occasionally a big. But mostly non ranked guys. After the fiorst recruitingcycle youl see you the sims target and then can decide what to do. I have had guards that high give me the backup message but never be pulled down or drop and thats with a A prestige.

I dont think so. Cannot honestly know if I ever tried.

I got a top 100 sf once at Le Moyne with an A+ prestige. I had 150ish pf's considering me as a backup (those guys usually ended up going d1 tho). Guard-wise it is really tough to get that high tho.

is he ranked 141? or is he not ranked?

The best I've done recently is the #140 SG, #134 PF and #126 C in Naismith 2 seasons ago. All were within 20 miles. In Smith's last recruiting period I signed a PG in the 140s, within 50 miles. Beyond the 70 mile window, I've signed Cs in the 170s and PGs in the 160s.

This was all with A+ prestige.

Would a SG and a Center both in the 170's be within my range?

it differs from season to season and World to World. Without analyzing the individual scenario no one can say with certainty if a #170 rated SG or C will be available to a D2 team. However of the two, I'd guess a D2 team would more likely see a ranked SG before a ranked C.

Last season in Allen I signed a #104 rated SG with a D2 team. A month earlier in Rupp there wasn't a top 200 C signed by any D2 teams.

Once recruiting starts and the D1 sims latch onto a few lower rated recruits you'll have a much clearer view of the ceiling for a D2 team.
