Easier to move up to D2 Topic

I don't know if this fix is related to my ticket or not, all I know is that I applied for 2 C prestige jobs, got near instant rejections, then applied for a D with a 4-26 record, same result, then out of desperation applied for a D- that was 1-29 and had not had a human coach in 20 seasons, same result. I was "qualified" for all the jobs, yet got rejections before the midnight decision making was even supposed to begin. By the time CS got back to me the 2 C prestige jobs were filled, but they told me that there had been some error in processing my applications and gave me the choice of either of the other 2. I chose to be moved up to the D school (which had apparently been abandoned by its human as it sported 7 walk-ons).

Good to hear, Dacj. I knew it had to be a snafu. Cburton is just rambling on about that which he didn't have a clue.

I, for one, think that it SHOULD be more difficult to move up from one level to the next and as such, I agree with CBurton.

However, as has been stated here previously, coaches were not getting beaten out by better resumes, they were getting immediate rejections from schools for which they were qualified. "Lowering their sights" wouldn't have made a difference in this case. It was a glitch in the application process and CS has admitted as much in the Release Notes. Can't quite see why CBurton doesn't understand that.

I'd like to see contracts assigned to open jobs. When you look for available jobs each one would have a contract requirement.

each opening could have a required contract length that you would be committed to. If you apply for another job before the contract expires you're let go and take a rep/loyalty hit.

I think they need to do something before DIII becomes another abandoned child.

just a thought after seeing this new release and the number of empty confs.

glad to see they've been working hard on this game for the past 6 months. Note the sarcastic post.

Seriously, what do these programmers do all day. They've hardly touched the game in a long time.

The reason you have not seen many if any updates like this is that they are currently re-writing the program code to a new programming language so it is easier for seble to make simple updates like this in the future. The next update will be worth the wait.
