Can a slow center work in a triangle? Topic

Would you keep a center on your team with good enough core attributes (70's and up) in d2 but incredibly slow (under 20)? We run a triangle and a man defense. Anyone tried to work with guys like this?

If his ath is high enough (50+) of course. I had a guy on my Caldwell team just graduate who had 20ish speed, but 70 or 80 ath and 80+ lp/reb. He shot over 50% and scored 10PPG playing only about 22 mpg.

A little concerned about the D as well. Is he going to get massacred by opposing centers with 35 plus speed?

I have a guy on my Central Oklahoma team who has a 13 speed, with a 85ath, 80 reb and 60lp. Last season he started as a true sophomore playing against a top 30 SOS and averaged 6.7 points, 6.6 rebounds on 48% shooting.
