I have about $2400 over in my recruiting budget and I've filled my scholarships for this season. There are only two cycles until recruiting ends. Is it advantageous to do a couple of OVs/HVs with a HS recruit who looks like he'll be going juco next season, with the intent/hope of him considering me immediately next recruiting season, or should I save the money and start with an extra $600 next season? I will have four open scholarships next year and wouldn't be opposed to bringing in a three-year player for one of the spots.

Another question: if I've filled my open scholarships for this year, will he even consider my school regardless of how much I spend?

I'd save the money and use it on FSS after this recruiting period ends

yes....getting to look at FSS and think for an extra month can be nice if you have a busy life outside HD rather than having to do all your analysis in a day or two.

I'd save the cash. However, If you are d1 and have a bunch over I might spend it on a pf who will drop to next year. That way, you are a phone call away from a top 100pf recruit considering you and the extra cash doesn't get cut by 75%

one of the problems with doing that is he may go JUCO on the other side of the country and then you're screwed for next year if he is a top recruit. the $2400 won't be worth a dime.
