So I have two 1st baseman (both named Martin). They don't have great projected ratings but both are playing well at the big league level.

Eugene Martin (proj ratings) 24 years old 66 overall

Con Pow L R Eye BR

68 67 72 76 67 36

Current stats: .285 OBP .351 11 Hr 36 RBI .787 OPS (290 ABs)

Cesar Martin 21 year old 2 overall

Con Pow L R Eye BR

19 94 58 69 100 24

I actually had similar guys at 1B and DH several seasons ago, with Honolulu (pitcher's park) as the home field.

The guy I had who was similar to Eugene gave me a .307-21-84 season in his first full season, but that was his peak year. He fell to about .270 with about a .425 SLG the following year, and then he was dealt and became a AAAA guy.

The guy I had who was similar to Cesar (but with less raw power) gave me a .300 BA and .400 OBP with 30 HRs his first full season, but slipped to about .260 (still with a good OBP) the following year. His D wasn't great, so I didn't resign him after that season, and he retired after not being picked up.
