I recently took over a complete rebuild in Phelan and was unable to cut some of the players I wanted to get rid of this offseason because I ran out of money. I am planning on not playing 2-3 of the returning guys on my roster in hopes that they leave at the end of the season.

I was wondering if having 2-3 players transfer due to lack of playing time will cause other players to quit the team?

Are you sure about that? I have never heard of another player leaving due to a transfer.

I know that other players can leave if you were to cut a player.

i think maybe reindude misread jfffs post. (i did at first)

i dont believe that players randomly quit when their own PT is okay.

actually, i had not even heard of hb's issue of payers leaving becuase you cut another player. although, gotta admit, i dont think i have cut anyone in a while.

Nope, it can not happen. If a player quits because he's unhappy about PT, that can not cause other players to quit.

(I believe you're thinking about the fact that if you take over a team and start cutting human-recruited players, than other players may quit the team.)

I thought a player could also possibly leave if you cut a SIM recruited player. But it's really only if you cut a human recruit? Thanks.

Well I wasn't going to cut anyone. I was just not going to play them and have them transfer.

Also would this hurt my reputation?

Shouldn't if you didn't recruit them. Your odds of having the players transfer is in the range of getting away with boosters though.

They wont transfer but if by some miricle they do then if you recruited them then yes it will hurt your rep
