"In the future we will require that every owner involved in the trade submit a ticket [to cancel a trade] and if it is a private world the commissioner will also have to submit a ticket approving it. "
CS admitted they acted rather hastily in cancelling a trade where the proposing owner had attempted to hit the "WITHDRAW PROPOSAL" button while, at the same time, the receiving team was hitting the "ACCEPT PROPOSAL" button. This resulted in the proposing owner NOT being able to see the trade at all, while the receiving owner and rest of the world COULD see the deal (as accepted). Clearly - an exceptional situation that does not happen everyday.
However, CS apparently gets requests to "cancel" trades all the time and has - up till now - cancelled them when requested (for legit reasons - payroll violations, "hit the wrong button", etc.) It took only one party to send a ticket and have the trade cancelled.
CS has changed this policy. Everyone should be aware - especially World Commissioners - that if a trade needs to be cancelled, BOTH parties AND the commissioner must send tickets.
