The top guy has absolutely stellar control and splits (projected 91, 80, 86) and 2 good pitches, 1 decent, 1 bad (projected 88, 82, 53, 17), but his durability is only 17 (and isn't getting higher) and his stamina projects to 85 (currently 65).
He is a HS player, with Health and Makeup already in the 90's.
I'm just worried that the stam/dur combo won't let him pitch enough to really be worth it.
This is a pretty good draft at the top and there are 3 real good position players that I'd consider with the pick
Just curious as to whether you drafted this guy. If he's anything like Jerry Glover, he'll be Pedro-like with 6-inning stamina (right down to a complete collapse in key playoff games). He's definitely worth the top pick, especially if you pick up a shutdown reliever or two to handle the 8th/9th innings.
