I just took over SUNY Farmingdale yesterday for IBA and recruiting starts tonight. I was wondering if a successful coach wouldn't mind mentoring me through HD. Thanks to those who consider!

Plenty of coaches are more then willing to answer questions about the game, including myself. Also please take a few minutes and read the New Coaches Guide (both the one at the top of the forums and the one inside of HD).

I woudl probably be looking to recruit speed, Athleticism, Perimeter shooting, and someone with a decent passing first, with that roster.

That's a tough recruiting there- you basically almost got walkons at pg you might be better off served dropping them only thing they have is speed. You could use 2 more pg's, a sg , sf or a bigger sg to make into sf position another good rebounding and low post man.

Don't be afraid to take a walk on or 2 every season to have extra money to get 1 or 2 'studs' per season. With lower talent levels and not everyone having 90+ cores in div III, you'd be surprised what a big with 50 ath/85 reb/ 72 lp and 35 speed could do in div III in this day and age. Playing with zone you don't need to be deep anyways as you can play 30-35 MPG with a decent stamina rating.

You might also consider seeing if there is an upperclassman transfer available to balance out your classes a bit: You only have three upperclassmen and five sophomores.
